The new staircase and a glimpse of the geotechnical survey where Mike meets
his namesake...
Currently languishing
in a salvage yard, this fine Victorian staircase will one day lead down from
our first floor deck to the garden.
The geotechnical survey
involved digging five deep holes with a big digger.
Geologist Tim Coe (probably
no relation) inspects the soil.......
.....and takes samples
to be analysed in the laboratory.
